Amanda (am): Since when you start this blog?
Abbie (ab) : I have had my blog up and running now for 2 years now, and in that time I have made myself proud. I feel that I am reaching my aspirations of fashion journalism even more now. I love the blogging community, meeting new people and expressing my passions.
am : why you are interest to be a fashion blogger?
ab : I love fashion journalism. I am forever flicking through fashion magazines, I created my blog to find my own sense of style in my writing. I also wanted to get some feedback for my work, and I wanted to put my mind to something worth while. I love blogging, and I love my blog.
am : what type of camera which you use to take pictures? Or what web mostly use to take pictures for your fashion article?
ab : unfortunately I do not have a high quality camera, I use my Blackberry to takes photo's. It's not a great camera, and the picture quality certainly isn't perfect, but it does the job. I use Google images mostly - as it's easier to control Copyrighting, also, Tumblr and Flickr.
am : any advices/tips for beginners in fashion blog?
ab : my best piece of advice is... keep adding people! Expand your social blogging network, follow more blogs, and encourage the exchange of links on to blog rolls. This way the followers will keep on flowing. Also, don't feel you have to post regularly, do it little by little, otherwise you will burn yourself out. Enjoy :) If you love your blog, others will to.
Based on our interview, we got something. You don't need to have a doubt if you want to be someone on fashion world. I like Abbie because she's saying the real. We don't have a great camera? Don't worry. It's not based on your good-quality pictures (even it's supporting), but it's based on your commitment on blogging. So, let start your fashion blog right now because all you need is trust yourselves :)
